Who is it for?

The ÄϹÏÓ°Ôº’s Turkey Scholarship is designed to help students from across Turkey to access postgraduate level study at the ÄϹÏÓ°Ôº. The Turkey Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught programme commencing in the 2024/25 and 2025/26 academic years. 

September 2024 and January 2025

Scholarship Amount

The Turkey Scholarship is valued at £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount during the first year of their studies.

Selection Criteria

In order to be eligible to receive the Turkey Scholarship prospective students must meet the following criteria:

• Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Turkey. 
• Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the ÄϹÏÓ°Ôº for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2024 or January 2025.
• Have completed a Bachelor’s degree (or an equivalent qualification that leads to postgraduate study) from a recognised institution and have obtained a minimum of a 2:1 classification (or an equivalent).

In addition to meeting the above criteria, prospective students must have applied to the ÄϹÏÓ°Ôº prior to the relevant deadline outlined below.

September 2025 and January 2026

Scholarship Amount

The Turkey Scholarship is valued at £4,000 - £5,000 and will be awarded to eligible students as a tuition fee discount during the first year of their studies. 

Selection Criteria

In order to be eligible to receive the Turkey Scholarship prospective students must meet the following criteria:

• Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, Turkey.
• Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the ÄϹÏÓ°Ôº for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2025 or January 2026.

A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:

1. a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
   b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University

A £4,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:

1. a) Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
   b) Completed a Pre-Master’s degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master’s degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
